That's great advice, for sure - and often overlooked. I did a show for a resteraunt opening last week, and at the end, I went to talk to the owner to get paid, and he said "I thought this was gratis?"
He was dead serious! he thought that because he threw me alot of work in his catering company, that I would just do this little 3 hr "opening" for free. (Silly, silly man)

I didn't require a contract from him becasue of time restraints and a long standing relationship ... but it just Shows to Go ya !

(He paid up, of course when I explained that I took OFF from my Trenton date to accomodate him) Some people just don't get it. I remember working some rooms in the 70's for months at a time, and at the end of the week, EVERY week the owner would say "So, how much do I owe you?" .... Like it would change !!!! ( Goofy, huh )

Sunday we have a pretty full schedule - it's a family reunion to celebreate my Grandmothers (poshumus)birthday. This weekend has grown into a big hoopla know as Granny's Mass to us, so I'll be pretty busy that day, but maybe ..... I can send the girls home with my Father and stick around to meet your wife and see if the "Gravy vs. Sauce" debate is worth posting about.
(My Mom is 100% Italian and we always called it sauce)

I also had a time with carpal tunnel syndrome and went to a chairopractor. A much better alternative than surgery IMHO. It took 3 months to get rid of it and never came back. A lot of people don't even know that is an alternative they can choose.
